UVA/UVB Tanning Beds
At Plush we want to make sure we have everything to offer that you would want. Our tanning beds are some of our customer favorites. We have 6 tanning beds ranging from level 2 to level 4, and we even have a stand up tanning bed. Walk ins are accepted, but calling ahead for an appointment is a guarantee for that spot!
UVA/UVB Bulbs
UVB bulbs are melanin building tanning bulbs. They do not penetrate as deeply as the UVA bulb, which in turn creates more of a base tan to help you not burn as easily. The UVA bulbs are where you really get your tan. Theses rays penetrate deeper into your skin for that bronzed look. UVA bulbs give more results of a tan than the UVB bulbs.
Tanning Levels
Level 2 - Our level 2 beds have a max time of 15 minutes and use only UVB bulbs. We have 3 beds for our level 2, one of them having a facial tanner.
Level 3 - Our level 3 beds have a max time of 12 minutes and use UVA and UVB bulbs. We have 2 beds for level 3, and these are our most popular beds.
Level 4 - Our level 4 bed is out standup, it has a max time of 9 minutes and is our highest intensity bed with the UVA and UVB bulbs.
